A192 steel pipe with other dimensions can also be furnished on condition that it complies with all other requirements of the ASTM A192/A192 specification.

The mechanical property requirements do not apply to ASTM A192 carbon steel seamless pipe smaller than 1/8in. [3.2 mm] inside diameter or 0.015 in. [0.4 mm] thickness.

The hot finished ASTM A192 carbon steel seamless pipe need not be heat treated. Cold finished A192 steel pipe shall be heat treated after the final cold-finishing at a temperature of 650℃.
