Eurasian Economic Union extends anti-dumping measures for Ukrainian steel pipes

On April 23, 2021, in accordance with resolution No. 49 of the Eurasian Economic Commission on April 20, 2021, the Eurasian Economic Union extended the validity of the Ukrainian steel pipe anti-dumping duty to February 7, 2022 (inclusive). The tax rates of the products involved in the case are as follows: 18.9% for cast iron pipes, 19.9% for compressor pipes, and 19.74% - 37.8% for oil and gas pipes and heat deformed pipes with a diameter of 820mm (inclusive).

On 31 January 2006, according to Russian Federation resolution 824, Russia began to impose anti-dumping duty on Ukrainian steel pipes. According to resolution 702 of June 22, 2011, Russia maintains anti-dumping duty on Ukrainian products, with a tax rate of 18.9% - 37.8%. According to resolution 48 of June 2, 2016, the Eurasian Economic Union maintains anti-dumping duty on the products involved in Ukraine, valid until June 1, 2021, and repeals resolution 133 of Oct. 6, 2015. The tax numbers of the products involved are ex 7304, ex 7305 and ex7306. On February 8, 2021, the Department of internal market protection of the Eurasian Economic Commission issued announcement No. 2021/250/AD1R4 in the official gazette, and launched a sunset review investigation on anti-dumping of steel pipes originating from Ukraine.
