However, the current environmental protection restrictions and production suspension in Hebei are becoming stricter. Many steel pipe factories reported that the goods could not be shipped out, the raw material end was strong, and the merchants were willing to support the price; some steel pipe factories in the southern region were still able to deliver goods, but the current cost was high, and most of them were replenishment on demand.

The seamless pipe market has steadily raised prices this week, with an increase of 50-100. Billet prices have risen this week. Manufacturers’ shipments are not tepid, and terminal demand has initially increased slightly. Merchants tend to be flexible and wait-and-see. Considering that the raw material support is still there and the manufacturers are willing to support prices, policy support during the two sessions may bring about the release of demand. Many construction projects will be concentrated in the peak season in March to create momentum for later demand. However, the current management price is high, and the downstream still takes goods on demand. It is expected that the price of seamless pipe will fluctuate at a high level next week, with a range of about 30-50.
