After quenching and tempering at medium temperature, 40Cr steel can be used to manufacture parts that can bear high load, impact and medium speed, such as gears, spindles, oil pump rotors, sliders, rings, etc.

After quenching and low temperature tempering, 40Cr structural steel can be used to manufacture parts with heavy load, low impact, wear resistance and solid thickness less than 25 mm, such as worm, spindle, shaft, collar, etc.

After quenching and tempering and high frequency surface quenching, 40Cr material can be used to manufacture parts with high surface hardness and wear resistance without great impact, such as gear, sleeve, shaft, main shaft, crankshaft, mandrel, pin, connecting rod, screw, nut, inlet valve, etc.

In addition, 40Cr alloy steel is suitable for manufacturing various transmission parts treated by carbonitriding, such as gears and shafts with larger diameter and good low temperature toughness.
