15CrMo steel pipe is a kind of alloy structural steel, which belongs to pearlite structure heat-resistant steel. 15CrMo steel pipe has high endurance strength below 500-550℃, good processability and cold strain plasticity, and acceptable weldability (preheating to 300℃ before welding and post welding heat treatment). It is generally used under the condition of normalizing and high temperature tempering.

15CrMo steel pipe chemical composition:
C 0.12-0.18%；Si 0.17-0.37%；Mn 0.40-0.70%；Cr 0.80-1.10%；Mo 0.40-0.55%.

The mechanical properties of 15CrMo steel pipe are as follows:
Tensile strength: 440 MPa; yield strength: 295 MPa; elongation after fracture: 22%; shrinkage after fracture: 60%; impact absorption energy: 94 J.

Application of 15CrMo steel pipe:
15CrMo steel is generally used to manufacture boiler superheater, medium and high pressure steam pipe and header with steam temperature up to 510℃ after normalizing and high temperature tempering, and main steam pipe with steam temperature up to 510℃. After quenching and tempering, it can be used to manufacture various important parts working at normal temperature.
