Differences in characteristics and uses between 12Cr1MoV and 15CrMo steel pipe

What are the differences in characteristics and uses between 12Cr1MoV and 15CrMo steel pipe?

12Cr1MoV steel pipe has the characteristics of similar creep and creep rupture strength values. 12Cr1MoV steel pipe has high plasticity in the long-term tension, and is generally used after normalizing and high-temperature tempering.

12Cr1MoV steel pipe is used to manufacture superheated steel pipes, pipes, radiator tubes and related forgings in high pressure equipment with working temperature not exceeding 570-585℃.

15CrMo steel pipe belongs to pearlitic heat-resistant steel. Under 500-550℃, 15CrMo steel pipe has high endurance strength, good machinability and cold strain plasticity, and acceptable weldability. 15CrMo steel pipe is generally used in normalizing and high-temperature tempering conditions.

15CrMo steel pipe can be used to manufacture boiler superheater, medium and high pressure steam pipe and header, and main steam pipe with steam temperature of 510℃. After quenching and tempering, 15CrMo steel pipe can be used to manufacture various parts working at normal temperature.
