What is the difference between 12Cr1MoV steel pipe and P22 seamless pipe?

1.P22 seamless pipe is in American Standard ASTM A335 / A335M. It is chromium molybdenum high temperature ferritic steel for boiler and superheater.

P22 seamless pipe has good processability and weldability, and good endurance plasticity. Therefore, it has been widely used in harsh working environment, such as various heating pipes and high pressure vessels in thermal power, nuclear power and some hydrogen equipment.

2.12Cr1MoV steel belongs to chromium molybdenum vanadium steel. If it is used in boiler pipe, it needs to comply with the Chinese Standard GB 5310, and adding G in the tail, that is 12Cr1MoVG boiler steel pipe. 12Cr1MoVG is one of the most widely used materials in high temperature area of 480℃ - 580℃. Service temperature of 12Cr1MoVG steel pipe: mainly used for superheater pipe, header and steam pipe above high pressure boiler with pipe wall temperature ≤ 580℃.
