What is the difference between 1Cr5Mo and 15CrMo alloy steel pipe?
1.Purely from the naming method of steel, 15CrMo is a steel with a carbon content of 0.15%. It is specially added with chromium and molybdenum. While we can only see that the 1Cr5Mo steel is added with trace elements of chromium and molybdenum.

2. Different between the chemical composition of 1Cr5Mo and 15CrMo alloy steel pipe:
15CrMo alloy steel pipe chemical composition: C 0.12-0.18, Mn 0.40-0.70, Si 0.17-0.37, Cr 0.80-1.10, Mo 0.40-0.55, Ni ≤0.30, S ≤0.035, P ≤0.035.

1Cr5Mo steel chemical composition: C ≤0.15, Mn 0.3-0.6, Si ≤0.5, Cr 4.0-6.0, Mo 0.45-0.65, S≤ 0.025, P≤ 0.025.

3. The difference in mechanical properties of 1Cr5Mo and 15CrMo alloy steel pipe:
15CrMo alloy steel pipe mechanical properties: tensile strength MPa 440-640; yield point MPa 235; elongation (%) 21.

1Cr5Mo steel mechanical properties: tensile strength ≥390 MPa, yield point 195 MPa, elongation 22 (%).
