NPS is short for “nominal pipe size”, DN is short for “diameter nominal”.

When the ASTM A53 seamless steel pipe is required for close coiling or cold bending, A53 grade A is the preferred grade. This provision is not intended to prohibit the cold bending of A53 grade B steel pipe.
