USDOC has postponed the preliminary determination of CVD investigation on seamless pipe

The United States postponed the preliminary determination time of countervailing investigation on seamless pipes in four countries including Czech Republic.

According to the request of Vallourec Star, LP, a domestic complaint company, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) has postponed the preliminary determination of countervailing duty (CVD) investigation on standard seamless pipe, pipeline seamless pipe and pressure seamless pipe made of plain carbon and alloy steel from the Czech Republic, South Korea, Russia and Ukraine.

The preliminary ruling time was postponed from October 1 to December 7.

According to the data provided by Vallourec Star, LP, the dumping margin of the above seamless pipe products produced by the Czech Republic to the United States is 50.45-51.7%, that of South Korea is 114.8-131.31%, that of Russia is 41.07-273.47%, and that of Ukraine is 42.38-42.88%.
